3D Printing
Industrial 3D printing services spanning FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF, and metal DMLS. From concept models to end-use parts with a wide range of engineering-grade materials.
About 3D Printing
Industrial 3D printing (additive manufacturing) builds parts layer by layer directly from CAD data, enabling complex geometries that are impossible with traditional machining. FabRapid offers five industrial 3D printing technologies — FDM, SLA, SLS, MJF, and DMLS — covering the full spectrum from concept models to end-use production parts.
Unlike desktop 3D printers, our industrial systems deliver production-grade quality with tight tolerances, isotropic mechanical properties, and a wide range of engineering-grade materials. HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) produces nylon parts with injection-molding-grade strength, while DMLS creates fully dense metal parts in titanium, stainless steel, and Inconel.
3D printing excels when parts have complex internal channels, organic shapes, lattice structures, or when you need rapid iteration without tooling. For many applications, 3D printing serves as a bridge-to-production manufacturing method while injection mold tooling is being fabricated.

3D Printing FAQ
FDM: strong, affordable functional parts. SLA: high-detail visual prototypes. SLS: strong nylon parts without supports. MJF: production-grade isotropic nylon parts at high throughput. DMLS: fully dense metal parts. Our team can recommend the best technology based on your application requirements.
MJF and SLS nylon parts achieve mechanical properties comparable to injection-molded nylon and are widely used in production. DMLS metal parts exceed wrought metal specifications in many cases. FDM and SLA parts are generally better suited for prototyping.
Maximum build volumes vary by technology: FDM up to 914 × 610 × 914 mm, SLA up to 335 × 200 × 300 mm, MJF up to 380 × 284 × 380 mm, SLS up to 340 × 340 × 605 mm, DMLS up to 250 × 250 × 325 mm. Larger parts can be printed in sections and assembled.
Pricing depends on material volume, technology, and material choice. FDM starts around $5-10 per part for small components. SLS/MJF nylon parts typically cost $15-50 each. DMLS metal parts start around $100-200. Upload your file for an instant quote.
